How to Book a Trade via NLP - Molecule Knowledge Base

One of the many awesome things about Molecule is how easy the system is to use, and booking a trade using NLP (Natural Language Processing) is a great example of that. Trades that are executed on the ICE and CME exchanges automatically flow into the system, but if you do need to book a trade manually, here's how to get started.

Open the Trades Screen

You'll be taken to the Trades screen as soon as you log into your Molecule account. On the top left corner, you will see a + TRADE:

Open the NLP Text Box

Click the + TRADE sign to open up a text box where you can type the trade you would like to book:

Choose Trade Type and Follow the Input Outline

Notice there is a drop-down menu below the text box where you can specify the type of trade you are booking. There is also an outline for how to input your trade to the right of the menu. This outline will update depending on your selection to show how each trade needs to be booked.

Futures

Forwards/Swaps

Options

Provide Additional Trade Information (Optional)

If you need to fill out more information regarding the trade, you can click on the drop-down arrow highlighted below to do so:

Note: Trades executed on the ICE and CME exchanges automatically flow into the system; manual booking via NLP is for trades that need to be entered by users.
