ICE + CME Adapters

Updated by Manvendra Singh

The ICE and CME screens allow you to establish a seamless connection between Molecule and your trading platform (either ICE or CME). With this integration, you can configure the connection without needing to contact Molecule support. This guide will walk you through the steps to complete the setup on both screens.

The screen is divided into four sections:

Trade Adapter

This section is where you configure the basic connection between Molecule and ICE/CME. You will be required to provide the following details:

  • Username: Enter your username for ICE/CME.
  • Password: Enter your password for ICE/CME.
  • IP Address: Enter the IP address of the connection.
  • Port: Enter the port number used for the connection.

After entering the necessary information, click "Save" to ensure the changes are applied and the connection is established.

Trader Mappings

The Trader Mappings section allows you to map an ICE order origination trader or a CME Pty 66/44 value to a specific trader in your team. This mapping can also include optional mappings to books and entities. Here’s how to complete this section:

  • Order Origination Trader (ICE): Map your ICE trader to a trader from your team.
  • CME Value (Pty 66/44): Map your CME trader to a team member.
  • Books (Optional): Optionally assign a book for the trader.
  • Entities (Optional): If you have multiple entities, you can assign the trader to a specific entity.

To add a new trader mapping, click the "+" icon and fill out the form with the relevant information.

Tag Mappings

The Tag Mappings section allows you to map your clearing account ID (for ICE) or Pty 24 (for CME) to a book tag in Molecule. This ensures that trades are tagged correctly for further processing.

  • Clearing Account ID (ICE): Map your ICE clearing account ID to a book tag.
  • Pty 24 (CME): Map your CME Pty 24 value to a book tag.

To add a new tag mapping, click the "+" icon and fill in the short form with the necessary details.

Commodity Mappings

The Commodity Mappings section lets you map the commodities you trade to specific book tags in Molecule. This ensures that commodity-related data is routed to the correct book tag.

  • Commodity: Select the commodity from your available options.
  • Book Tag: Map the commodity to the appropriate book tag in Molecule.

To add a new commodity mapping, click the "+" icon and fill out the form with the relevant details.
